The first edition of Greenbrook’s Private Markets Digital Report evaluates 130 leading and high-profile private markets firms, and the ways they use digital channels to establish influence and engage with their key stakeholders. In addition to evaluating each firm’s posting cadence, level of engagement and reach, we have analysed each firm’s digital channel strategy and content quality to assign a proprietary assessment – the Digital Performance Score (DPS) – to these firms’ LinkedIn profiles.

Stakeholder interest in corporate communications via LinkedIn is surging, with private markets firms seeing an average follower growth of nearly 50% in the past year alone. This is a shift that underscores the growing importance of digital channels as a cornerstone of reputation management, long-term business resilience, and success. While many private markets firms already invest in their online presence, there remains a substantial gap between those effectively using digital channels to strengthen their reputation and establish influence, and those falling behind.
